Unpublishing items

Once you publish an item to the production server, you can't unpublish it. However, you can hide the item by changing its status to Inactive.

Important: If the item is already assigned in an assignment, making it inactive does not remove it from the assignment. If you no longer want the item in the assignment, you must unassign it.

To change item status to Inactive:

1. Search for the item in the Item Manager.
2. From the Edit Action drop-down list, select Edit Item Properties.
3. From the Item State drop-down list, change the status to Inactive.
4. Click Save.
